About us

GrowSoil Substrates Private Limited., as our name would suggest is quite unique, in that we realistically turnout a substitute Smart for actual soil, using eco-friendly techniques. We have been, very successfully over the past six (06) years or more, manufacturing and offering very high quality, environmentally friendly, “GrowSoil Coco Substrates” to professional growers internationally.

We are a fully owned Sri Lankan Company with a very skilled workforce. We are intensely committed to ensuring our clients the highest degree of satisfaction, by supplying them with a high quality product by way of bio-degradable, ‘nearest to nature’, substitute for actual soil so that they could successfully, themselves carry out their agricultural and horticultural endeavours confidently achieving a high yield of fruits, flowers or vegetables of their choice.

We are ably backed by a technically sound, highly skilled professional team who constantly monitor and upgrade the standards of our coir Smartd products. As such every product manufactured by us is guaranteed 100% organic in nature and is therefore derived from an environmentally sustainable source which is coconut (Cocos Nucifera), which our resplendant tropical island Sri Lanka is blessed with in an abundance. We take pride in that only the very best and stringent processes are applied in the manufacture of our products. Once the nuts of the tree have been duly harvested for use, the remnant husks are then de-fibred and processed to make Coco-Peat, in an organic manner, which is thereafter widely used as a substrate in the Horticultural industry. We at GrowSoil Coco Substrates Private Limited, ensure that all our highly esteemed clientele who are pre-dominantly growers and are steadily increasing in their numbers, to greatly benefit from the use of our products, by providing them with hitherto unmatched levels in polutant-free, organic embraced, guaranteed bio-degradable, growth enhancing Smart material of the highest standard, which could be confidently relied upon by them.

Our Cocos substrate is ideally suited for the growing of vegetables, fruits and flowers. We successfully manufacture a range of feature specific, substitute soil coco substrates for our growers individual requirements.

These orders are executed promptly using upto date state-of-the-art technology in doing so, to cater to the needs of our individual and corporate clients. Our head-office is strategically situated in the Western Province within the ‘coconut triangle’ area of the South and the West of the island with easy accessibility to our factory positioned in the (North Western) Wayamba Province

Our exports exceed 10,000 tonnes of coco substrates annually with a demand that is ever increasing. Ably backed by a highly qualified, well experienced, dedicated and responsible staff, it is therefore no surprise that our collective success is due to their highly focussed commitment to detail.
